In accordance with the regulations of the UAB for the accomplishment of academic practices, it is mandatory that students have accident and civil liability insurance.

The UAB offers all its students supplementary insurance consisting of accident insurance, civil liability and travel assistance. The period of coverage is the academic year in which the insurance is contracted.

If you plan to participate in an exchange program during the course you have to hire supplementary insurance, which consists of a travel assistance insurance that covers medical expenses due to illness or accident. The period of coverage is the academic year in which the insurance is contracted.
