The general objective of the seminar is to use physical exercise as a health promotion tool, considering the benefits of physical activity and physical exercise, not only in apparently healthy people, but also in those with some limitations for the practice of sport. With clear specific objectives:
 
1. Include the physiological bases in the recommendation of physical exercise, as transversal training in university nursing degree studies.
2. Increase the safety of the student as a future professional in the advice and prescription of physical exercise.
3. Use physical exercise as a health promotion tool, considering the benefits of physical activity and physical exercise, not only in apparently healthy people, but also in those with some limitations for the sport practice.

On the one hand, the course develops an interactive teaching methodology, through a virtual learning environment, aimed at the acquisition of skills. The acquisition of theoretical knowledge is carried out through audiovisual content.

On the other hand, the consolidation of these theoretical contents and the acquisition of skills is carried out through practical training, which consists of a physical exercise session led by teachers and sports technicians at the CEM Guinardó facilities FC Martinenc and the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau
