SPACES
The new area for simulation consists of: The new clinical simulation spaces respond to an emerging teaching need, which complements undergraduate and postgraduate training.
The new area for simulation consists of:
- Two open spaces of 55 and 75 m2 respectively, with capacity for 90 students, in which any type of skills or procedures workshop can be developed.
- Four rooms, of which 3 are rooms prepared to adjust to the contextual fidelity required by hospitalization environments (conventional hospitalization, -one of the rooms incorporates a space to simulate assisted bathing-, hospital emergencies, critical patient), and the fourth is an office to simulate the consultation environment.
- A fifth, multipurpose room, for pre- and debriefing (welcoming participants, and analysis and reflections after the simulations), with an interactive screen that allows students to visualize each of the cases in the simulated scenarios.
Both the stages and the observation and analysis spaces are equipped with sanitary furniture, technological equipment and a system of cameras and microphones for video and sound recording.

TECHNOLOGY AND SIMULATORS
We use technology specially designed for simulation, highlighting the SimCapture image and sound file management system. This facilitates the simultaneous operation of the set of spaces, where students can participate in the simulation directly or indirectly since the system allows viewing and recording the scenarios developed from any place with an intranet and internet connection. On the other hand, since the system allows documenting all simulation activity for later use, it allows us to study both the simulation and the methodological process that has been used and to conduct research based on this information.
In addition, we have realistic simulators, with different levels of physiological and interactive functions, controlled by tablets with Simpad (Laerdal) software, which allow us to develop customized solutions in an agile, flexible and dynamic manner for different areas of care.
