DEGREE IN NURSING

The Degree Teaching Plan in Nursing at the EUI Sant Pau implements clinical simulation as a complementary teaching method in theoretical subjects and, also, has planned 2 subjects, of 3 ECTS each, aimed specifically at working on skills and attitudes for the care of the people The two subjects are integrated in the 2nd and 4th year of the degree.

• Subject Simulation I, 2nd year: 50 sessions of zone 1 skills (simzones), focused on basic procedures related to personal care from the perspective of V. Henderson's 14 needs.
• Subject Simulation II, 4th year: 24 sessions of zone 2 skills, aimed at care processes that address all the skills that a novice nurse must have, applied throughout the life cycle of people and in the diversity of care environments where it will be necessary that the novice graduate transfers the knowledge gained.
