Access by changing Spanish university studies

 

Requirements

You can access the degree program through this route if you have an official Spanish university degree program that has been started and 30 or more credits are recognized for the degree program for which you are applying, in accordance with the regulations on credit transfer and recognition, and if your previous academic record does not show any courses enrolled in and failed for the fourth or more times. However, you will not be able to access the degree program through this route if 75% or more of the total credits for the target degree program are recognized, except in cases where places remain vacant and the corresponding Vice-Rectorate of the UAB authorizes it.

For credit recognition and the evaluation of your previous academic record, the grades obtained up to the application deadline are taken into account.

Applying for admission through this route is compatible with university pre-registration.

Number of places offered: 10

Application period: February 24, 2026 to April 7, 2026 (excluding Easter holidays).

Required documents:

You must submit the required documents online to the email address grauinfermeria@santpau.cat 

Each document must be named with your surnames at the beginning (Example: Garcia_Garcia_ID):

  • Completed and digitally signed application form (Idcat or FNMT certificate).
  • Copy of your valid ID (both sides).
  • Digitally signed academic transcript showing the grades obtained in all subjects, including the number of credits for each and the number of exam attempts. This transcript must include your university entrance grade.
  • Course syllabus for each subject taken and passed, with the seal of your home university. The course guides must correspond to the academic year in which the subject was passed.
  • Proof of tuition waiver or discount (if applicable).
  • Statement of motivation for the application.

If the applicant has received credit for previously earned subjects, it will be necessary to provide the recognition resolution and documentation from the home university (certificate, syllabus, and study plan, all duly stamped).

Admission

Applications that do not meet the requirements established by law will be rejected. Applications that do meet the requirements will be ranked according to the following criteria:

  • First, applicants with degrees related to the field of study of the degree being applied for.
  • Second, applicants with degrees unrelated to the field.

Within each group, applications will be ranked according to the scoring of academic records, applying the criteria established in the UAB's Regulations for Admission to Studies and published by each faculty.

Once the admission decision has been signed, the center will publish the list of accepted, waitlisted, and rejected applications.

When you are notified of your admission, it is mandatory to request the transfer of your academic record from your home university. Admission to the UAB is conditional upon the center receiving and verifying the official academic transcript sent by your home university and the original documentation submitted with your application.
