PERIOPERATIVE NURSING

This master intends that the student will be able to :

- To define and analyse the responsibilities of nurses in the perioperative field in order to act effectively and efficiently in the organization of the nursing team in the surgical area and at the same time to make good use of resources and knowledge.

- Demonstrate adequate attitude and ability in the execution of techniques and procedures to provide care to the surgical patient with criteria of responsibility and safety. - Develop the specific roles of instrumentation, coordination and care of the patient in the process of anesthesia.

- Elaborate, implement and evaluate nursing care plans taking into account the needs of the surgical patient and his family.

- Define and analyze nursing responsibilities in the perioperative area to act effectively and efficiently in the organization of the nursing team in the surgical area and in turn make good use of resources and knowledge.

 

Teaching

- Theoretical: From September to May. Monday to Friday from 8h to 13h.
